Future of our Faith (NHCA), a new initiative designed to strengthen our ministries of the Church in New Hampshire and to reduce the number of annual second collections at parishes. The NHCA supports the care for our retired and elderly priests, education of seminarians and vocations, Catholic Education, Evangelization through Parable Magazine, Catholic Charities NH and much more.
Corpus Christi Food Pantry and Assistance is located at 3 Crown Street, Nashua. The Pantry helps prevent hunger. They provide food, basic toiletries, and basic cleaning supplies to all clients in need. Corpus Christi may also supply a simple gift for a child’s birthday and/or basic back-to-school supplies. In special support of our seniors, Corpus Christi Food Pantry delivers food to four low-income elderly housing complexes in Nashua once a week. The Assistance Services helps prevent homelessness by providing financial guidance (referrals, budgeting, planning and advocacy). Those clients who are eligible also receive financial help to prevent such things as evictions, utility shut offs, to assist with transportation, education, and other basic needs. Marguerite’s Place has a 25-year history of empowering mothers experiencing homelessness on their journeys toward self-sufficiency. Marguerite’s Place supports homeless women with children in their quest for self-sufficiency by providing them with safe, stable, transitional housing, childcare along with emotional, educational, and supportive services to help families thrive. St. Gianna’s Place is a caring home for pregnant women in crisis and their babies. Our vision is to promote healthy families by providing expectant moms with resources to give birth to their babies and move their lives forward in a positive direction. The Nashua Lions Club is collecting used eyeglasses...old glasses, cheaters, and prescriptions eyeglasses. Make a positive difference. Donate your usable eyeglasses and help someone see better. There is a recycle sight box in the parish office. Thank you for making a difference.
